Memphis Opportunity Scholarship Trust (M.O.S.T.)

College Scholarship
for On-Campus Living

M.O.S.T. is dedicated to providing long-term support to students in our program. Our goal is to retain student leaders in Memphis, ensuring that our community benefits from their future leadership and contributions. While many scholarships focus on tuition, there are few that offer the opportunity for students to live on campus. At M.O.S.T. we believe that living on campus, even for just one year, can significantly enhance a student's college experience by fostering a greater sense of independence and connection.

Why Live on Campus?

Research shows that living on campus offers the following benefits:

1.  Enhanced connection with peers and increased likelihood of involvement in campus activities, clubs, and volunteer opportunities.

2.  Support from resident advisors.

3.  Access to libraries, fitness facilities, study groups, and other resources.

4.  Heightened safety measures prioritized by colleges.

5.  Reduced stress and costs associated with commuting.
